Host: Arrow Minded Outdoors

Format: 72-arrow outdoor round x 2 days

Date: Aug 10th & 11th, 2024

Rogers & Elliott PLLC is donating $1,000 to fund prizes for a raffle held at TSAA state outdoor. Winners will be selected from the entrants after the last scoring end, but do not need to be present at the drawing.  The prizes and cost for tickets will be announced in the coming days.  Proceeds will benefit the TSAA scholarship fund.

All Eyes on Paris 2024: Jordan White &

Jason Tabansky at Paralympics

The Paris Paralympics will be held on Aug 28, - Sep 8, 2024 in Paris, France. TSAA is thrilled to say that two of the members of Team USA will be from Texas. Jordan White, made history by being the youngest para archer to ever qualify for the Olympic Games. White will make his Olympic debut alongside retired military veteran, Jason Tabansky, who has several world medals and championship titles. Best of luck to both archers as they seek to win Gold in Paris! #GoTeamUSA

TSAA 25M TOURNAMENT SERIES

TSAA is looking for hosts for our first 25m series. This will be a double (60 arrows) round series. The series will run from September to December 2024.

JOAD Nationals & US Open

WIAWIS USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals & JOAD US Open was held Albuquerque, NM from July 17 - 21, 2024. The State of Texas had over 75 JOAD archers participate in this year’s national event with 15 Individual US National awards, 13 US Open awards and 15 Team Event awards. We are proud of all our JOAD archers for the hard work and dedication they have shown over the year and look forward to their bright futures in the sport! #LeadTheWay

TSAA Bale Leasing Program

The Texas State Archery Association is proud to announce their affiliate bale lease program!  This is a new initiative for JOAD clubs affiliated with the TSAA in which the TSAA will provide target bales to the affiliated club in exchange for an agreement to host several USA Archery style tournaments over a two-year period.

At the conclusion of the lease term, if the affiliated club has hosted the required tournaments, the TSAA will give them the target bales at no additional cost.

A sample contract is published here which outlines the terms of the affiliate bale lease program.  The number of bales leased to own is flexible depending on the affiliated club’s membership and needs.  Please email This email address is being protected from spambots. Texas Outdoor Target Series

The series concluded with series record championship attendance (51), series record participation (256 TOTS rounds shot, 144 archers), series event participation record (61 archers) and several state records broken.

21 Archers have placed 1st and qualified for a series championship buckle. Buckle recipients list can be seen at the TOTS Standing listing.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. $5 from each archer’s registration ($35) go to TSAA, club keeps the rest. If a shoot is sanctioned, TSAA will pay for judge fee required. TOTS hosted will be counted for TSAA bale leasing tournament requirements.
