TOTS, a.k.a. "Texas 1080" Round, gives every archer an opportunity to shoot 36 arrows at their standard "OR" distance, regardless of what age, gender or discipline that archer is. This gives archers a legitimate 36-arrow score they can use to gauge their progress in USA Archery events, work on JOAD achievement pins, and prepares them for competing in USA Archery sponsored national competitions.
The first two distances and target sizes are standard USA Archery formats (e.g. 122cm face at 70M, then an 80cm face at 50M), followed by an extra challenge for the final 36 arrows (60cm face at 30M). The primary goal is for our kids (and adults) to have fun with a bow in their hands.
This 108-arrow single day TOTS format keeps the archer challenged, and is easily completed a in a single day. TOTS has exploded in popularity because people feel they are getting in enough arrows to justify their travel time and expenses, often without an overnight stay. Cost is $20 to $25 per archer, most of which goes towards support the JOAD or CLUB. $5 goes to TSAA towards the cost of running the finals and awards
See attachment for printable distances and target size faces for each division.

For 2018, we are changing things up for the TOTS Championship (CTOTS). As in the past, to be eligible to compete in the CTOTS, an archer must have competed in a minimum of two TOTS events with division winners being determined from these archers based on the doubling of your CTOTS score and adding that total to the combined points of your two highest TOTS scores. Each division winner will receive a medal similar to the ones given out at State Outdoor.
In addition to division winners, we will create flights based on the following criteria, regardless of equipment to determine the CTOTS winners:
Youth Male
Youth Female
Adult Male
Adult Female
The flight(s) will be based on a range from the combined total of the 2 highest TOTS scores. We are hoping to have 5 or 6 flights. The winner of each flight will be determined by doubling the CTOTS score and adding the combined total of the two highest TOTS scores. Each flight winner will be awarded a belt buckle so, if you would like to win the first TOTS belt buckle, you have 3 more chances to compete to qualify for the CTOTS. This is what they will look like and, will be awarded at the conclusion of the CTOTS.
