The archer has just gone through click. The fingers show release, but the bowstring has not yet moved forward more than a mm or three- note the pressure on the nose and kisser are still present. As the bowstring moves forward the slack in the formmaster will be taken up instantly. The goal is for the archer to maintain the alignment of the string arm, and keep the full tension in the trapezius/back.
The white cord dangling down is the excess that is not being used. The wrist alignment is curved/relaxed, and the forearm is good and straight, there is no collapse.
