This block is narrow enough to insert into the channel, but when rotated 90 degrees clockwise will engage the channels (note the grooves in the block). The hole in the block is 1/2" threaded, and the spring will serve to push the grooves into the channel and maintain tension. The drill bit is a regular wood bit, 1/16" size, for drilling pilot holes.
