The FITA Field at Buffalo Field Archery Club in Houston on Sept 15-16 was a success. Nine hardy archers competed on Saturday and 20 shot on Sunday with six returning from the day before. The course was dry, the sun was shining and it was slightly cool in the morning. As pleasant a day for archery as one could expect in late summer. Several archers shot FITA field for the first time and enjoyed it; exclaiming they would return and shoot again. Thomas Lykins, the youngest archer on the field, had so much fun, he didn't bother scoring. Thanks to the Buffalo Field Archery Club for hosting the event along with the TSAA and many thanks to Norm McCord for his endless hours in preparing the course. Look forward to next year
